Shipping Guide after Selling on Pure
Congrats! You've made a sale and you're one step closer to that sweet payout, but now comes the important part - shipping your items safely and securely. In this guide, you'll understand a step-by-step guide on how to pack and ship your items on pure.
Step 1: Get your items together in hand.
Once you've gathered all your items together in hand, you are ready to start the shipment process. For example, you have just "sold" this sealed 20 Gram Accredited Gold Bar and will be processing it for shipment.
Step 2: Print out your order's Packing Slip and Shipping Label.
After you have a confirmed sale, you will receive a packing slip and shipping label with your order that will allow you to be able to reference all the items and their corresponding prices. You'll also receive a shipping label that is unique to your order, this label covers insurance and the value of the entire order, so keep this handy.
Step 3: Place the Items and Packing Slip in the Inner Box
After you have gotten the necessary papers, place the items inside of the inner box, and make sure none of the items are sliding around inside. You can put bars or certified coins inside a plastic Ziploc bag, or foam case so they don't scratch or crack during shipment. Seal the Inner box up with clear tape and mark it on the outside of the box with the date.
Step 4: Place the Inner Box inside the Outer FedEx Box
Now that you have the inner box taped up, place the inner box inside of the outer FedEx box. This should be easy since your inner box is smaller than the outer box, if it is tight, then get a larger outer box. Your label will cover this added space.
NEW: Please attach the inner box label affixed to the inside box ONLY. For added measures, you can even add the shipping label to the inner box as well.
Step 5: Attach the Label to the Outer FedEx Box and Tape ALL Corners
Once you have a box inside a box, attach the label to the outer FedEx box using tape on all corners so that the label cannot be removed. You must also create an H-Seam on both sides of the FedEx box with the tape. Some examples are shown below.
Step 6: Drop-Off or Schedule a Pickup In-Person and Obtain a Receipt
After you have completed the box process, simply drop it off at a FedEx location near you or schedule a pickup. You MUST obtain a physical dropoff receipt and CANNOT drop off at a location that is not FedEx branded (Grocery Store, Pack N' Ship etc.)
NEW: Please avoid shipping over the weekend due to heightened risk. For two-day labels that means you must ship them Monday-Wednesday, whereas overnight labels can be Monday-Thursday. Please also avoid dropping off after the FedEx express cutoff or your package will sit in the FedEx office for the entirety of that day.
Please DO NOT:
Tell FedEx the value of the package
Disclose the contents of the package
Put Label in Plastic Envelope
Forget packing slip
Use your labels to ship the package
